Who We Are!

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith..(Hebrews 12: 1-3) 

We are a common ordinary people. We have experienced the highs and lows of life. As it is said, in the good times and in the bad times. 
We have made mistakes. Sometimes, we have made choices that were not beneficial to our well-being.
We have felt pain, heartache and loss. We have felt an emptiness on the inside, even after we attained certain goals or achievements that we dreamed and aspired to obtain. We thought those things would make us happy and give us contentment.

The Word says the common people heard him gladly. (Mark 12: 37) 
Jesus sent his disciples to preach the gospel. It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. The foolishness of God is wiser than man; and the weakness of God is stronger than man. God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. That no flesh should glory in his presence. (1 Corinthians 1:17-31)

We are a people who believe and have experienced what Jesus said he would do.
​Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments. I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."
